Shani is an actress, dancer and singer and is based in Cape Town. She has been performing on stage and in front of camera since she was a baby. Her first theatre performance in a theater production, was at the age of two years old at Artscape , Cape Town, in the production of Snow White, and the seven dwarves. She has since performed in Annie at the tiny age of 7 as the character Molly in the Opera House at Artscape. Thereafter in Evita at Artscape and as Martha in The Sound of Music at Artscape. She has had acting training with Cheryl Abromowitz at Stagecraft Studios. Shani is an excellent sports player and represents her school in first team netball and waterpolo. She holds her school’s 800m running record for 3 years in a row . She also loves and excels in soccer. Shani is an extremely accomplished dancer ( modern and ballet) , having won several exceptional solo awards at dance competitions and eistedfodds . She was chosen to perform in Tali’s Joburg Diary on Showmax and has just completed filming the movie Diamond Status , playing Rya Diamond.
